The Truth Exotic Rocket Launcher Overview

Truth is a PvP-focused rocket launcher. Its Exotic perk is Prototype Trueseeker, causing its rockets to aggressively hunt down enemies. It also has the Grenades and Horseshoes perk, where the rockets detonate when they’re in close proximity of the target.

How to Unlock The Truth Exotic Rocket Launcher in Destiny 2?

Step One: Get To The Menagerie

Step one is to get into the new Menagerie event where there is a new Ogre boss for the week. The Truth quest won’t give you a prompt in the Tower. You need to find an Awoken script to start the quest line. Go complete a Menagerie run and open the final chest to get that script.

Step Two: Find Petra Venj And Finish An Ascendant Challenge

In the Dreaming City, you will find Petra Venj. She will give you the Hidden Between Realities Quest Step which asks you to loot one Ascendant Chest.?To do this you’re going to need a Tincture that allows you to travel between dimensions. Keep in mind that players are going to need a good amount of these Tinctures in their inventory, since they will need the Ascended buff for most of the upcoming parts of the quest. Grab a bunch to avoid having to make a supply run in the middle of your search.

One of this week’s challenges for Petra is in the Bay of Drowned Wishes.?This Ascendant zone is a jumping puzzle with a short fight at the end that can be completed relatively easily whether you’re solo or not.

Step three: Finding Four Map Fragments

When you complete the Ascendant Challenge, you’ll get a broken map.The Map Asunder must be restored before it can be read. You’ll need to find four different map fragments, one each in the following locations:

Bay of Drowned Wishes Lost Sector in Dreaming City – You need to be Ascendant to get this fragment
Jetsam of Saturn –  In the Boss Room there will be an Ogre that needs to be killed to drop the map fragment.
Any Nightfall – Complete a nightfall and it’ll drop you a map piece.
Cistern (Nessus) – Need to be Ascendant and you will find a grouping of platforms on the far left side of the Cistern above the Vex Milk Pools.

Step Four: Grind Up – Map Fragment Challenges

Each fragment has an associated challenge which must also be completed. The four challenges are as follows:
Get 50 rocket launcher kills on Nessus with the Ascendant buff active.
Rack up 100 Hive kills on the Tangled Shore
Complete three Nightfall strikes and earn 60 Nightfall rocket launcher kills. Both tasks must be completed with a -100 handicap active.
Finish a Corsair Down badge pursuit in the Dreaming City. This requires finding a Corsair Down badge from slain Scorn and then locating the badge’s owner.?Doing so will show where the Corsair is located, and there you will find the body of an Awoken guard, spawning a boss. When finished, turn the badge into any Corsair in the area, usually around the Devallian Mists. If you are newer to the game, you may need to first do public quests in The Dreaming City for this to be possible.

Step Five: Nearing The End: The Warden Of Nothing Strike

Once you’ve completed the pieces of the map, you’ll have to head into the Warden of Nothing strike after consuming a Tincture of Queensfoil. If you’ve completed everything up to this point, you should find Truth waiting for you in a chest at the end of the mission. Congratulations, you know have the Truth rocket launcher.
