Blizzard is rolling out a new event, Rise of the Mechs, starting June 3. The event will include a new legendary mech card called SN1P-SN4P, buffs to cards across the board, and a new arena draft rotation. Here are further details you should know.

Blastmaster Boom is headed back to the drawing board to upgrade his arsenal and perfect some of his pet projects in this June 3 update. Check out what’s coming to the Tavern during the Rise of the Mech event, including a brand new Legendary Mech, SN1P-SN4P!

Start and End Dates

The Rise of the Mechs event begins on June 3rd and officially ends on July 1st.

Rise of the Mechs Event Major Content:

New Legendary Mech named “SN1P-SN4P.”

SN1P-SN4P is a 3 Mana 2 / 3 Mech. He has Magnetic, Echo, and a Deathrattle that summons two 1 / 1 Microbots.

Important Note: SN1P-SN4P will be considered part of the The Boomsday Project and will rotate with that set. Note, however that SN1P-SN4P will not drop from The Boomsday Project card packs. If you play the Rise of the Mech event by logging in anytime between June 3 and July 1, you'll earn a golden copy of the new neutral Legendary Mech SN1P-SN4P. After July 1, the regular version of SN1P-SN4P can be crafted for the usual cost of 1600 "Dust."

If you fail to log in during this time, you can still craft him at a later date for 1600 Dust, as you would with any other Legendary card.

Card Changes

During the event, two cards from The Boomsday Project from each class will be given a slight power boost.

These changes will be permanent, and so you may see some of the updated cards stay in the meta until the whole Boomsday set rotates out of Standard next year. Let's see how well the improved versions do first.

Note: The majority of these changes involve a reduction of Mana cost. In those cases we've listed the new Mana cost, with the current Mana cost right after.
